Let’s start with what I think is one of the prime essentials – AppleCare+. When you purchase iMac or iMac Pro, it comes with a default one-year hardware repair coverage.
What AppleCare+ does is that it extends the coverage up to 3 years and adds a few more benefits, like getting a 24/7 priority access to Apple experts (by phone), two accidental damage coverages and so on.
You can get AppleCare+ at your local Apple store, or online. However, it’s important to know that you’re only eligible to purchase AppleCare for your product within 60 days of your iMac purchase.

If you’re not used to working with a mouse or you’re too comfortable with the trackpad on your Macbook Pro, then Magic Trackpad is the accessory for you.
Magic Trackpad 2 features an edge-to-edge glass surface and sharp sensors that can detect subtle differences in the amount of pressure you apply.
So if you’ve already ordered an iMac Pro but forgot to add the Trackpad in your purchase, then don’t fret. You can easily include it as an add-on to your purchase. And yes, it does come in the matching Space Gray color to go with your iMac.
This sleek aluminum monitor stand is designed by Satechi to complement the look and feel of your iMac. It comes in 5 different colors – gold, silver, space gray, rose gold, and matte black.
You can use it to store your keyboard and mouse when not in use, leaving your desk clean and organized.

Exclusively designed by Satechi for iMac and iMac Pro, the clamp hub allows you to conveniently access your ports and devices right at the front while keeping your desk clean and minimal.
It also comes in space gray color to match the iMac pro.

If you have a Macbook along with an iMac, then you’d want one of these. Curve is a stand that’ll hold your Macbook to the height of your iMac so both screens can be kept at the same viewing angle.
It has an anti-slip silicone pad, and raised edges that keep your laptop in place and leave its base exposed for optimal cooling.

This gorgeous curvey stand will hold the MacBook steady and firm while allowing cables to run beneath it, keeping your workstation as clutter-free as possible. BookArc is available in silver and space gray color.
If you don’t like the BookArc in terms of design and style, then here’s another vertical stand for your iMac accompanying Macbook. The stylish stand comes with two u-shaped rubber holders for any laptop with a thickness between 0.55″ to 0.64″.
Made with high-quality aluminum, the stand is durable and will store your laptop securely in style.
While it’s not likely that your iMac screen gets scratches, this protector is more towards helping you in keeping the screen clean and minimize screen smudges.
Additionally, the matte surface of this protector will help reduce screen glares and visual fatigue.
If sticking a screen protector on a 27-inch screen is too challenging for you then you can use this screen protection panel.
It’s pretty easy to install, just hang it on top of your iMac screen, and it will sit firmly on it. The screen panel also protects your eyes from blue light effects and digital eye fatigue.
If you’re up for any screen protector or screen panel for your iMac, then at least get one of these screen cleaners.
